Hair Service

 

What does the hair service include?

The price of our hair service includes the cost of hairstyling, hairstyling products (like hair gel, hairspray etc), hair grips, pins etc.  It also includes the travel expenses of the hairstylist to your home or venue of your choice provided that your home or venue is in London.

 

Is the cost of hair extensions, braids, relaxing included in the hair service?

 

The hair service does not include the cost of hair pieces or attachments to create volume.  It also does not include the cost of relaxing, weaving or plaiting.  These are charged separately and the price is dependent upon your requirements.  You can bring your own hair pieces or attachments and the hairstylist can fit them or we can supply them and you would have to pay the hairstylist for the cost.

 

Do I have to provide my own decorations like flowers, crystals and tiaras?

 

Decorations like flowers, crystals, tiaras are not included but the hairstylist will fit them for you if you supply them.

 

How long will it take to do my hair?

 

The hairstyling session on the day of the special occasion will last no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes.  The hairstyling trial will last no more than 2 hours and 30 minutes.  The hairstylist will try as many hairstyles as you need during the trial as long as it does not take more than the scheduled time.

 

What products do we use?

 

We do not endorse any products or get commission from any brands.  Our choice of hair or hair product is totally impartial and the personal choice of each individual hairstylist although all the brands we use are well known high quality brands for Afro and European hair.

 

Make-up Service

 

What does the make-up service include?

 

The price includes the cost of make-up and the travel expenses of the make-up artist to your home or venue of your choice provided that your home or venue is in London.

 

I have sensitive skin; can I still get my make-up done?

 

If you have sensitive skin you would have to let us know in advance so that the make-up artist can bring hypoallergenic products with him/her.  If you want the make-up artist to use your own cosmetics to be 100% sure that will not be a problem.  

 

How long does it take to do my make-up?

 

The make-up session on the day of the special occasion will last no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes.  The make-up trial will last no more than 2 hours and 30 minutes.  The make-up artist will try as many makeovers as you need during the trial as long as it does not take more than the scheduled time.

General

Will my hairstylist or make-up artist bring a book with photographs of hairstyles and make-ups?

 

We encourage you to bring photographs of styles you like to your hair and make-up session.  You can find some in our gallery; otherwise the web is full of them.

 

Do I have to buy anything before the hair and make-up session?

 

No, the make-up artist or hairstylist will bring everything you will need, and will tell you what to buy during the session or buy it on your behalf.

 

Is the cost of hair and make-up for a child the same as an adult?

 

The cost of hair and make-up service for a child is the same as an adult.

 

Can I change my appointment?

 

If you decide to change the date of your appointment for our hair and/or make-up service you must notify us 7 days before the date of your appointment.  If we do not receive notification 7 days before the date of your appointment you will not be allowed to change the date of your appointment or entitled to a refund.

 

What happens if I am late for my appointment?

 

In the event that a hairstylist or make-up artist is required to work outside of the agreed hours of work ("the Contacted Hours") as a result of any delays caused by you we will require you to pay an additional fee of £50.00 per hour which is payable within 7 days of receipt of our invoice.  The minimum charge is £50.00.

 

If I cancel my appointment will I get a refund?

 

In the event that you choose to cancel your appointment you will only receive a full refund provided that you notify us 28 days before your appointment.

 

How soon do I need to pay?

 

We require payment in full to secure your appointment for our hair and make-up service.
